Weekend Sickness

When you have the flu and your boogers are dripping out of your nose.

Knowing that a flu has come upon you and you can’t go out with fever on you sucks because all your plans have been ruin for you being sick. When you have boogers and a sore throat that as you swallow you feel the burn going down on your throat. Thinking on what you had plan to do makes you get upset that now this sickness is holding you back and you just have to rest in best. Resting in bed is great cause your not doing anything, but when your sick you can’t because your coughing and sneezing with a booger shirt next to you.

Having your boyfriend take care of you is cute though as he just laying next to you asking you what you need and making you giggle. Knowing that you have a boyfriend that cares about your health and how you feel and won’t leave you side even though you are really sick. He is still holding you so close and kissing you even though he might get sick as well he won’t care all the germs you contain. That can be the best part of being sick when you have someone taking care of you and still being their holding you even though your looking horrible.

All the warm food you get to eat and stay warm under your blankety watching movies and drinking hot chocolate with your boyfriend next to you. As you slowly start to get better and you had someone take care of you throughout your cold and with someone who cares and loves you. Best feeling ever.

Weird Rocks

There’s this freaking ball around like brazil that just ended up there all random. Costa Rica and a few surrounding areas are scattered with giant stone balls. They are smooth and perfectly spherical, or nearly so.

Some of them are quite small, a few inches in diameter, but some of them are as large as eight feet in diameter weighing several tons. They have been chiseled to perfection by persons unknown, despite the fact that Costa Rica is still not scheduled to enter the Bronze Age until 2013. The are balls everywhere and serve no apparent purpose. Some of the balls have been blasted apart by locals hoping to find gold, coffee beans, or even babies. Some have been rolled around, but some are too heavy to move even with a bulldozer. Not that they have bulldozers in Costa Rica.

So why are the these big ball of nothing’s even around. Well no one knows why either. So they just gracefully sit there roundness in the meadows of Costa Rica and stay there for years. I would assume that kids play around them and stuff, jump freely. So nobody can move these things around because there too dang huge. There taller than any normal rock anyway. Anyway, I don’t have much more to say about some giant rocks…it’s pretty interesting that they are there for no reason at all. But yeah mysteries…wooooo!

Or maybe these our alien baby eggs..and they are waiting to hatch. Which is pretty awesome for giant babies

EDC,Girls,College, Military!

This year for me is going to be a life changing year because now that I’m graduating high school, I don’t know what I really want to do in life. This year I’m going to Electric Daisy Carnival  again in Las Vegas, which is going be amazing. It was amazing last year with all my alumni friends, but this year it is even more special. I’m going with all my High school friends. Also one of my best friends Jesse Cruz is going to Arizona State University , which is gonna be really dope and cool. We agreed that I’m going to go at least once or twice a month or five times in three months, so we can go to the football games. Also since one of goals if to for me to be there when ASU throws really huge parties and have the time of our lives and just go crazy! The path I have chosen for my life is to join the military, because I feel it is something that I have to do personally. For me this would be a great accomplishment for me to achieve and do. I’m still on the wall about where to go, it’s either the Army or the Marine Corps. I’m still undecided , but until them I’m happy doing my photography work here at school and all around the city.

ASU Party!

Prom is Almost Here!

Prom is coming up and there’s many seniors who have to start clearing their stuff. It’s a drag to be clearing absences, especially if students have a lot of them. As the date approaches more and more seniors start clearing their absences, but others are waiting until the last minute. Those who procrastinate are usually the one’s who will not get their things done, and by the time they go buy their tickets there will be no more.

There has been many girls who have been asked out to prom. Today a girl was asked out to prom during the announcements after lunch, and a few weeks ago another girl was asked out with a poster and flowers. There are many ways that girls have been asked out to prom, and every year the guys think of different ideas to ask them.

This year prom is going to be in a different location. Last year’s location prom was in a hotel by downtown, but this year the location is Almansor Court, the reason being is because the tickets will be less expensive.

Every senior is excited for prom, the girls looking for their dresses, trying to figure out where to do their make-up, or how to do their hair, and the guys finding a prom date and choosing what color of suit to wear. We are all looking forward to prom, it is only weeks away, so for those who say they don’t wanna go they should because its a one in a life time experience.

Red Riding Hood with a Wicked Past

The Version You Know
Mention the words “fairy tale” to someone–if they don’t think of gingerbread houses, or possibly a certain bar they know, they think of this story. Little Red on her way to grandmother’s house meets the Big Bad Wolf and stupidly tells him where she’s going. So he gets there first, eats Grandma, puts on her dress and waits for Red.

She gets there, they do the back-and-forth about what big teeth he has, and he eats her. Then, a passing woodsman comes and cuts Red and Grandma out of the wolf, saving the day.

What Got Changed
Most modern versions of fairy tales come from two sources: The Grimm Brothers from Germany, and Frenchman Charles Perrault, the collector of the “Mother Goose” tales. The big change they made to this one was the ending. That woodsman showing up seemed a little like a third act re-write of a movie due to bad test screenings, didn’t it? Where the hell did the woodsman come from?

Well, the woodsman was a later addition to the tale. In the early versions of the story, Red and her Grandmother are dead. The. Goddamn. End. Also, in most versions the woodsman cuts the pair out of the wolf’s belly, where they’re mostly none the worse for wear despite being eaten, which implies to us the wolf in that story world eats like some sort of python, by unhinging its jaw and swallowing prey whole. Suspension of disbelief only goes so far.

Wait, it gets worse. This is the most horrifying bit that got filtered out before the tale reached both the Grimm’s and Perrault (and in fact, only made it into a few written texts). In this version, the Wolf dissects Grandmother, then invites Red in for a meal of her flesh, presumably with a side of fava beans and a nice Chianti. Then he eats her, too.

Story’s over! Sweet dreams, little Sally!

Roosevelt Kingdom

FAIRY-TALE TIME!

STORY OF THE SCARY MOCKINGBIRD! HE WHO SHALL GO AGAINST THE MOCKINGBIRD, BEWARE!!!

Theodore Roosevelt Senior High Kingdom (school) has always been a happy place with many children running about happily and always having such a great time with other children who were just as happy. Until..about 8 years ago the deepest darkest cloud came over the school…evil had come upon the Kingdom (school).

There is a story of a scary creature that lurks the hallways of the R-Building. It is said that with one glare and with one shriek you will forever (4 years of high school) be cursed with the ability to never have hope again. He is the meanest creature of them all, some who have dared to face him say he will give you tons of essays that will melt your brain into the pools of your desk. He then feeds on the failure souls that do not reach the goal of doing there a.r tests on time. What kind of creature would put such struggles against the mere minds of mortals? The Mockingbird (Dean) is his name and he has cursed the hallways of this facility for far too long. Many have tried to defeat him, and unfortunately none have defeated him. It would be with great honor that someone could beat him and that person would forever be praised and glorified.

If anyone would be so kind to help the dear kingdom of Theodore Roosevelt and to lift its  curse would be most awesome. The kingdom would offer so much dude, you have no idea.

Spider-Man+Broadway

We’re living in a world where almost every comic book superhero who ever existed is going to have an accompanying movie. It’s a wonderful day to be alive, but it’s also easy to take this world for granted. It’s important to remember that, once upon a time, it was damn near impossible to get a superhero movie made. Even Spider-Man, Marvel’s most popular hero and a guy who has had four movies in our lifetime (and at least one more on the way), spent a lot of time in movie development hell …
In the 1970s, comics god Stan Lee planted himself firmly in Los Angeles with the single goal of making a crapload of money selling off the rights of Marvel properties to literally anyone. He tried to turn Thor into an off-Broadway play, he tried to make a movie based on Dazzler even though it would have been based on Dazzler.
Still, none of that compares to the Steve Krants-helmed Spider-Man treatment. According to Stan Lee and the Rise and Fallof the AmericanComic Book, Krantz’s vision involved turning Spider-Man into a “musical-fantasy picture,” although he quickly realized that it would have been a terrible idea. Did you hear that, U2 and Broadway? Even a guy in the ’70s — a decade made entirely of drugs — knew how absurd it would be to have Spider-Man singing and dancing at bad guys.

Spring Break!

Finally, it’s Friday, and the best part about today is that we have early dismissal. The bell will ring in 6 minutes, and I feel kind of pressured right now, because I’m barely starting my blog. Today was actually a pretty good day, taking pictures of random people for journalism.

Hopefully, next week is a good week, because I really need a break, and I’m really looking forward to going to LACMA and the beach with my best friend. What I’m also excited about is that tomorrow I’m going to the movies to go watch Olympus Has Fallen.

The LACMA Museum in Los Angeles.

Then, on Sunday I’m going with my family to a buffet because it’s my dad’s birthday, and we want to celebrate it in a special way. After that, we will probably go shopping together  and have some family time.

Hopefully by Monday I will have some alone time, to rest and just stay home, watching movies on Netflix. I’m really looking forward especially to Tuesday and Wednesday because I’m planning on going to the LACMA museum for a journalism project, and since I’ve never been there, I’m really happy to go.

I feel like I really need this break because I’ve been stressing out about raising my grades, and now that I have finally gotten them up, I feel like I can’t let them back down. I need to stay on track, and keep my grades up to be eligible for graduation.

Well, I guess that’s it, the bell rang already, and I’m really wanting to go home right now, to lay down and sleep for the rest of my day.
