What ever happened to the classic shows that we used to watch as young kids? What ever happened to Drake & Josh, The Flintstones, Hey Arnold!, or Ned’s Declassified?

These shows were entertaining and educational. They showed good morals on how to be and what not to do. Kids learned without really knowing it because they were so entertained with what was happening within the show to stop and think about it. They would put comedy into serious issues and made young kids understand the consequences of what they do.

I would watch these shows as much as I could but suddenly they slowly started to disappear. These shows would come on less and less until the time came when there was nothing left to watch. There was nothing left because networks started making and producing new shows to get more rating. These new shows somewhat entertaining but can not be compared to the classics.

I understand that new shows are needed to keep the networks successful and in business but the exception is that some of these shows, to me, are not funny at all. The writers use the same jokes and they eventually get so predictable that it is not funny anymore. Once in a while they come up with something new, exciting , and actually funny. This happens on rare occasions but at least it happens.

A bad thing about this is that the makers of these shows make it seem interesting and exciting during commercials, but while watching them they seem dull and I think to myself on what is the point of watching this? I want something that can make me laugh and keep me laughing until the end. 

These so called “new shows” are just copied off of  the classic shows that we all knew and loved. These shows get so predictable that I would rather do watch a movie or do something else besides watch television. I would rather go to my computer and search up those classic shows that I enjoyed watching.

Even though those classic shows are gone, I can always remember them and the good times and laughs that they brought.
