Prom is Coming :(

There are only about two weeks left until the 2011 senior prom.  It will take place at the Bonaventure hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.  Personally, I am stressing out about.  I am attending two proms: Roosevelt’s prom and my old school’s prom, Schurr High School.  They are only a week apart and I have so much to do within those seven days.  I got two dresses, one white dress and one blue dress.  Unfortunately, I am now in a dilemma: I am not sure which dress to wear to which prom.  I originally planned to wear my white dress to Roosevelt’s prom but now I am hearing that a lot of girls are going to wear white.

My biggest fear is that someone will have my dress but in the end, there is nothing I could do about it.  Celebrities often wear the same dress and they do one of two things: they laugh about it and take a picture together or they battle it out in the weekly celebrity magazine where readers get to choose “who wore it best”.

This is ridiculous.

Not only am I stressed out about the whole dress situation but also about how I am getting to the prom.  My date and I are not going to rent a limo or party bus with friends, but instead my date’s friend was going to drive us.  I am okay with that except his friend does not even have a license and to make things worse, his date’s parents are very protective and need to see that someone has a license.  I wonder, who out of all of us is the only one with a license?  Yes, I am the only one.  They wanted me to drive to and from her house so parents won’t get mad but imagine a girl, in a gown, behind the driver’s seat of an expedition, picking up another girl.  Now that is just ridiculous.

The point is, no matter what happens, no matter what dress I wear I am going to have fun no matter what, even if that means I have to drive a truck load of kids to the prom in my three inch heels.
