This past Friday the play “Peter Pan and the Untold Story” finally took place! Over 900 tickets were sold, breaking play attendance records  . I anticipated this day for a long time and dreaded it as well for I was really scared and nervous to perform. Although it was fun and a good show, what I most dreaded happened  My mike was off so the audience was not able to hear me!

I had a real hard time acting out the scenes because I am really shy and I feel wierd acting especially in front of people. But Maite(one of the directors) helped me out a lot and her experience in theater made it easier for me to express myself and develop my character. By the way, for those who don’t know, I played Mary, Peter’s mother.

I am really going to miss working on the play and watching my friends acting on stage. I am just lucky because I got to do this twice and was able to enjoy it one more time before it was all over. This may be something I never get to do again and I’m glad I got the opportunity to be a part of it.

The play was amazing. I was really excited to see four of the staff members with major roles. The sets were beautiful, the acting was awesome, the lights, everything. I was really impressed. It’s too bad about the sound in the beginning, but I heard your English accent. Very authentic!
