Your HELP is needed!!!!!

The RHS Drill team is known throughout the Boyle Heights community as the spririt and heart of Theodore Roosevelt High School. We are a year round activity, working hard throughout the whole year including supporting our football team at every game while performing at half time. Our practices are from 6:15 am – 8:15 am every weekday and 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm four days a week plus most Saturdays. Despite all our hard work and hours that we put in, our talent goes unnoticed witht the lack of resources. We are currently seeking financial sponsors to help us with competition costs, and we hope we can count on your support……………

 

As a memeber of the Drill Team I find it hard to get sponsors and its even tougher when we have to raise $24,000, which includes all competition fees, buses, uniforms, and USA national costs. Your sponsorship is tax deductable. Any amount would help us out a lot. If any one would like to help feel free to contact Ms. Lee at the school. below is a list of the competitions coming up and that we might not be able to go to unless we get some money.

 

JANUARY 26th: Winter Celebration at West Covina

February 2nd: Claremont Festival of Champions at Claremont

February 16th: USA Regionals at Glendale H.S.

March 1st: West High Spirit Day at West H.S.

March 7th-8th: USA National at Anaheim Convention Center

TBA: LAUSD Drill Team Competion

 

Here is a breakdown of the costs in order of Priority:

1.) Uniforms                     $3,330

2) Competition Fees          $900

3) USA Nationals              $15,000

4) Buses                          $4,800

                                         Total $24,000
