As every one knows, Roosevelt was broken into. Yesterday, around 6:40 a.m. I kept hearing sirens. I started hearing them get closer and closer to my house. Then they just stopped.
When I left my house I noticed police as I turned the corner. They closed off the whole street so I had to walk around. I can remember seeing one car turned into First Street Elementary School’s teacher parking lot and about four police cars around the car. I was thinking to myself, speed chase. I was wrong!!
I work at First Street School in LA’s Best, an afterschool program. As I got to work, I heard many different things about what happened that morning. Many students were saying that their principal, Mr. Cress, was being arrested. Come on kids, why would he? So I ended up finding out that someone broke into their school. I am not sure if they caught the people.
It is just crazy how people can do this. Come on! As it is, we are not from a wealthy community, or one where we can replace what we have! What is going on with people these days!!! There is a bunch of idiots going around stealing things.
It is true a lot of people steal things but they have their reasons for stealing it might not be a good reason but what can you do about it. It’s their life.
