I don’t have any real updates on the future of CNMT and Roosevelt. The most up-to-date is what Dr. Freire sent out this last week. I will post it here for people who may not receive her emails or couldn’t attend the SDMC meeting.

I don’t think that much has happened since last Monday’s SDMC meeting, but we do need to start moving quickly with developing our plan. Tomorrow’s meeting will be very important.

Hello, my name is Christian and am a member of a youth led immigrant rights group, Dream Team L.A. We wondering if the Roosevelt AB 540 support group would be interested in having a presentation on AB 131 as well as the recent policy of deferred action for childhood arrivals. Our resources are free and we are just trying to get the word out on as many resources for undocumented youth throughout Los Angeles. Thanks.

Hello Joseph!
I will try to write in english. I will tell you that my father Walter loved his cousins Grete and Lizzie very. We had not contact in the family because it is very difficult to have it so far away, but internet give now us this possibility. Ben wrote me and now I have contact with him in facebook. I saw his little nice dougther in this place. I send him per internet a lot of old Fotos in Austria with the family. I hope he became the Fotos. In a few days we will be Opa und Omi from Nicolas and we are grandparents from August (3 Jahrs old) Do yoy live in England? And how is Anne, Lizzies dougther?

Hi Ben
It’s amazing that you got a response to your moving post from Sanny in Argentina. Mum often spoke of Walter and his wife Elvira who lived in Buenos Aires. she was fond of Walter as a child and I think she visited the family once in Buenos Aires. By the time I visited Argentina around 2005 I had no way of knowing how to contact the family so I did not attempt to do so.

Now I will try to send a letter to Sanny, in German, so that we can re-establish contact. Do you know if Rayah has access to this Facebook section? Let’s give her the link so that she can read the comments from Sanny and your original blog post.
